At Northern Regional Hospital we strive to deliver the highest quality, most cost effective benefit programs to our employees. We review the programs annually, making appropriate modifications when needed, and offer our employees flexibility and choice.
Northern Regional Hospital offers a number of benefits to employees, along with programs such as Social Security, Workers' Compensation, and unemployment insurance which cover all employees in the manner prescribed by law.
Benefits eligibility is dependent upon a variety of factors, including employee classification. Generally, employees working an average of 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the medical coverage; 100% and 80% employees are eligible for medical and all other benefits being offered; 50% employees are eligible for dental, short-term disability, accident, specified disease and hospital indemnity plans. Medical/Vision & Dental coverage becomes effective on your 31st day of continuous employment as a benefit eligible employee other coverages vary from 30 to 90 days based on employee classification. The Human Resources Department will assist employees in identifying and explaining all of the programs and eligibility requirements (if any) to employees.
