| Ultrasound Department Receives ACR Accreditation

| Northern Hospital of Surry County has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation for its ultrasound imaging modality as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Achieving ACR Accreditation is a significant indicator of the quality and performance of medical imaging. It is only awarded to facilities which demonstrate, through a rigorous application and peer-review evaluation by ACR board certified physicians and health physicists, the highest practice standards. The CT, Mammography, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine services at Northern Hospital are also ACR Accredited.
