Certification as a Medical Technologist or a Medical Laboratory Technician by a major Certifying Agency. |

Minimum of an Associate Degree in Science (or equivalent - HEW certified) and graduation from a school of Medical Technology. Meets CLIA requirements for high complexity testing personnel. |

Evidence of continuing education activities to develop and improve skills consistent with experience. |

The successful candidate would have to pass competencies for this position. |

Through education, experience, and/or training, the individual is qualified to provide testing of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients as may be related to scope of responsibility and defined in the AGE RELATED COMPETENCY FOR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST. |

Must have acceptable driving record and must be at least 23 years of age as required by the hospital liability insurance. |
