Back to job listings HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT/NURSE PRACTITIONER Type of Employment: Relief/Shift Varies Department: Hospitalist Reports To: Hospitalist Medical Director/Supervising Hospitalist Required Experience:    Graduate from an accredited Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current NC licensure    BCLS Certification    ACLS Certification    Through education, experience and/or training, the individual is qualified to work with the adult patient    Following completion of orientation, the individual is qualified to perform the functions of a physician    The successful candidate would have to meet the credentialing requirements as defined by the Medical Staff    Must be licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine Preferred Experience:    Previous inpatient/acute care experience
