Sedgewick Homes Donates to Hospital Volunteer Program

Sedgewick Homes, LLC presented Northern Hospital’s Volunteer Program with a check for $1,000 on Friday, August 10th, as part of Sedgewick Homes’ Servant’s Heart Program.

The Servant’s Heart Program is Sedgewick’s way of recognizing and honoring the contributions made by “community servants.” The Program gives thanks to those who serve and to the organization they are with or retired from. For those who purchase a home from Sedgewick, they make a $1,000 donation to the individual’s organization. Recognized fields are: Primary and Secondary School Teachers; Police Men and Women; Fire Fighters; Nurses; EMS; and the Military.
A Sedgewick representative presented the check on Friday on behalf of Northern Hospital employee Amy Shough, RN. Amy, an Operating Room nurse at Northern, and her husband Kevin, recently purchased a home through Sedgewick. On hand for the presentation were Sedgewick representative, Ray Ruppe, Amy Shough, and Volunteer Services Director Kaye Puckett. Kaye had this to say about the surprise donation, “we are very pleased to receive the generous donation from Amy and Sedgewick Homes for our Volunteer Department!”
