Hospital Welcomes Dr. David Werle



       Northern Hospital of Surry County welcomes to its staff Dr. David Werle who recently joined Drs. Talluri Balaji and Davis Hart at Surry Urological Associates as a full-time urologist.
       Dr. Werle completed his training in June 2011 at one of the top urology residency programs in the country at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. His contemporary surgical training will allow Surry Urological Associates to continue to offer the latest in procedures. Dr. Werle is a graduate of Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Following graduation, he completed the Physician Assistant program at Wake Forest University and worked as a PA in an Emergency Department in High Point, NC for several years before returning to Wake Forest to obtain his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the WFU School of Medicine.
        Dr. Werle is married with two children and his family has deep roots in the area. Outside of medicine his interests include World War II history, golf, running, basketball, softball and volleyball.
